The Faith Walk
Hebrews 11:5-6
Introduction
God’s image in Adam was then reproduced in Seth, Adam’s son. The capacities and qualities of a parent are passed on to his children by natural reproduction. Besides providing the link between Adam and his times and Noah and his, this chapter has a motif that cannot be missed—and then he died This was the end of every man. If one were in doubt whether the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23), he need only look at human history. In Enoch’s case, the statement was not made—as it was with the other males in this genealogy—that he lived so many years and then died. Instead he walked with God “Walk” is the biblical expression for fellowship and obedience that results in divine favor. Enoch’s walk lasted 300 years. No doubt his walk would have continued, but God took him away (v.24)—he did not die. Such a walk was commanded of Israel (Lev. 26:3, 11-13) and of the church. Scripture uses this term “walk” often. Psalm 23 says “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” (Expound on this) Jesus is further represented in the Gospels as walking and enabling others to walk under conditions not normally given to men (Mk. 6:48). Here again, as Matthew’s Gospel makes clear, the physical act has a spiritual significance (Mt. 14:31). Walking can be understood as representative of the whole range of human activity to which an impotent man is restored (Acts 3:6-10). More frequently it stands for the whole manner of a man’s life and conduct, and to the attitude which God takes up towards him, so that God can say: ‘If you … walk contrary to me, then I also will walk contrary to you’ (Lv. 26:23-24). Gen. 3:8 God came seeking to walk with Adam. God wants to walk with you.
Three main points 1. He Walked with God 2. He Pleased God 3. He Believed God

The lights are on, the audio is up, the choir quickly takes its' place. Sis Jullianne begins a heart felt welcoming of the visitors and an opening worship song to get the congregants into the spirit of worship! Pastor Emma moves toward the pulpit and begins Bible drill and memory verse recital. Everyone participates and the house is full of joy in the Lord. Where am I? CDC Sweden! You are in the right place.
The church has become so independent since Pastor Kyien has been away. His three month journey to the Philippines has been a blessing in disguise to the parent church in Sweden. Pastor Kyien, although a great delegator of authority, found it hard to let go of key positions within the church. History has been his teacher and now he has learned the congregation is ready to take the next step. Indeed the church has already taken that step. "We have grown closer as a family since you have been away," Sis. Shiro, a choir member exclaimed. "We are glad you are back but it was good you went away," she continued.
